Do I have to redo everything?

No. Whatever you keep your rent records in today, moving to mTenure means carrying across one number per tenant — what each of them owes you, and the date that was true.

mTenure does not import your old system, and it does not need to. Your QuickBooks account, your spreadsheet or your book keeps existing exactly as it is, as your own history. mTenure starts a fresh ledger from the day you begin, with that one number carried forward to stand for everything before it.

You do not do this alone, and there is no file to prepare. We set your account up with you, remotely, and enter the balances together while you check them against your own records.

  Read the figures off a Customer Balance Summary report, as of a date you choose.

  Read the figures off whichever column your sheet already keeps them in.

  Read the figures straight off the page, exactly as the book has them.
